A true classic from my mum’s trusted recipe. soft, buttery, and full of comfort. This old school butter cake has a tender crumb and rich flavour that brings back all the childhood feels. Made with premium butter with absolutely no oil or margarine. Simple, nostalgic, and perfect with a hot cup of tea or coffee.

🧈 Ingredients 

✦ Butter, Sugar, Egg, Flour, Baking Powder, Baking Soda, Milk, Vanilla

✦ Dairy, Egg, Gluten


❄️ Storage

✦ Leave at room temperature for up to 2 days. Make sure it is not too humid. 
✦ Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge, best consumed within 5 days. 
✦ Butter cake will firm up when chilled, microwave for 20-30 seconds to soften and warm. 
✦ Make sure to consumed it immediately after reheating if not it will turn solid hard.

✦ Transport the cake using a car, motorbikes are not advised as the cake is fragile.
✦ Place the cake on the levelled car floor with the high air-conditioning.
✦ Avoid placing on car seats as they are often slightly slanted and may cause to shift or tilt.
